Looking for a second opinion? If your child has been evaluated elsewhere but you still have questions, Incremental Health can help!

Has you child been denied services because a previous evaluation was inconclusive? Did you receive a diagnosis but still have questions or concerns? Is the treatment they recommended not working for your family?

Unfortunately, misdiagnosis is very common with mental health conditions - particularly with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD. In fact, the accuracy of ADHD diagnoses made by community providers is only 40%-60%!

ADHD is one of the most overdiagnosed childhood conditions. That’s true. But it’s also one of the most underdiagnosed conditions. That means there are a lot of kids diagnosed with ADHD who shouldn’t be, but it also means there are a lot of kids who fall through the cracks and don’t get the help they need.

If you have questions, Incremental Health can help.

How Can a Second Opinion From Incremental Health Help My Family?

Incremental is led by clinical psychologist Dr. Michael Kofler, a nationally recognized expert who has spent the last 20 years researching ADHD and related conditions.

Our staff will conduct a thorough review of your child’s previous evaluation, determine whether it meets our quality standards for comprehensiveness and accuracy, and meet with you personally using secure telehealth video conference technology to answer your questions and provide recommendations for next steps.

At Incremental Health, we make evidence-based recommendations, meaning that we combine your child's personalized evaluation results with the scientific research. In other words, we match your child's challenges with the treatments that are the most effective for overcoming those challenges.

Please note that we do not consult on cases involving child custody, forensic cases, or cases with current or likely legal/court involvement.

All consultations are conducted via telehealth - we are not offering in-person appointments at this time.

Worried about medicating your child? So are we! At Incremental Health, we do not prescribe medication. That said, if the evidence suggests that medication can help your child, we will tell you so - but the decision is up to you! For some child mental health conditions, medication is the most effective option. For others, medication is less effective and may even interfere with successful treatment. We will discuss the evidence with you and provide our recommendations based on high-quality scientific research. But ultimately, whether or not to try medication is a personal decision - and your decision.

No one at Incremental Health receives funding or other compensation from drug companies. We have never received funding or other support from drug companies at any point in our careers.
